Dear CUSTOMER,
Please be advised that you can install WordPress via EasyScripts, which we offer in SiteControl. To do so, please follow the steps below:
1. Log into your SiteControl here: LINK
2. Navigate to 'Website'
3. Click on 'MySQL' and activate a database, which is necessary for the installation
. Go back to the 'Website' section (on the left)
5. Navigate to 'EasyScripts'
6. Click on 'WordPress' and then on 'Install'
7. On the next page select the version you wish to install and fill out the requested information
8. Check the 'license agreement' check box on the bottom of the page
9. Click on 'Install' and WordPress will get automatically installed on the server side
Note that if you wish to have WordPress installed into a sub-folder, you can put down the sub-folder name at the filed after 'http://yourdomain.com/'. It will be created automatically in the FTP space.
In case you wish to have it installed directly into the main /web folder, you will need to put a forward slash after 'http://yourdomain.com/'.
